Lance and Nico demonstrated strong pace in the opening practice sessions for Formula 1’s 70th Anniversary Grand Prix weekend. Lance ran a slightly longer stint of nine laps and posted a 1.28.248 that placed him P7. On our second runs, both our drivers set their best times of the session as Nico posted a 1.26.942 lap time that would prove good enough for P4, while Lance’s 1.27.539 put him in P8. Initially, our boys headed out for a sprint on the Soft tyre and Lance briefly topped the session with a 1.27.129 lap time. Nico would eventually end the session in P6 and with a best time of 1.26.942, with Lance finishing ahead in P5 and with a time of 1.26.501.
