Checo overcame two red flags and multiple Safety Car periods to secure an impressive P5 in the first Formula 1 Tuscan Grand Prix, as Lance’s podium-hunting pace went unrewarded after a late crash. It was all about keeping it cool and collected during the Red Flag before we restarted on Lap 10 of 59 – with Lance wasting no time in charging up to P4!. “I’m also relieved to hear that Lance is OK after his big crash. “I think the podium was a possibility for us today, but we just didn’t quite have the pace or the balance to make it into the fight for the podium.
