SWEDESBORO, N.J. – Briggs Danner picked up right where he left off after the last Rapid Tire USAC East Coast Sprint Car Series event at Bridgeport Speedway, holding off a hard-charging Alex Bright for Saturday’s season opening victory. By lap five, Danner held a strong lead over Betts, Bright, Christopher Allen, and Joey Amantea. Danner, Betts, and Bright opened up a significant lead over the rest of the top 10 in the early laps of the feature event. The top five of the feature field remained more or less the same as the feature hit the halfway mark with Danner leading Bright, Amantea, Steven Drevicki and Betts.
