LANCASTER, N.Y. — Due to saturated grounds, management of Lancaster Motorplex made the decision to cancel the racing program scheduled for Saturday night. The rain that fell overnight on Friday and into the first half of the day on Saturday, as well as the cool temperatures has made it unfavorable to dry the track and pit area in a timely manner. Stock car racing action continues at Lancaster on Saturday, June 10 for the annual running of the Sportsman 50 for the Monroe Extinguisher Sportsman. The Street Stocks, 4 Cylinders, and the Mighty TQ Midgets will all be in competition.
