Fixing Formula 1’s revenue distribution is the single most importance problem the sport must solve, says Williams deputy team principal Claire Williams, who called other issues “red herrings”.
“I think we need to be clear with Pirelli on what we do want,” said Claire Williams.
Claire Williams: “Invariably different teams are going to have different opinions based on how are you able to manage your tyre with the car that you’ve got.”
Claire Williams: “I think it’s just coming up with a solution that is sensible for the teams, the drivers and Pirelli that makes it easy to stick with that.”
