Following the 2021 MotoGP eSport Championship‘s four Pro Draft Challenges, which he passed with flying colours, Lorenzo Daretti is set to take part in the Global Series again. In 2019, he joined the Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP team as its official eRider for the first time. Lin Jarvis (Managing Director Yamaha Motor Racing): “We enter our third year with Lorenzo as our eRider, and for him personally it‘s his fifth year competing at the top level of MotoGP eSport. He genuinely loves both eSport and MotoGP, and that‘s exactly why he fits our team so well. I‘m very happy to remain a part of the Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP team. The team support me in eSport as much as I support them in racing. To be a part of this team now as an eSport Rider still sometimes feels like a dream to me. I‘m mostly just excited to start the 2021 MotoGP eSport Global Series now.
