WRC3: Rossel ahead after thriller Friday

Yohan Rossel delivered a dazzling drive to head up the ultra-competitive WRC3 field on Friday at Vodafone Rally de Portugal. On a day with high attrition rates, Rossel took a measured approach on the early stages, which included classics such as Arganil and Lousã. Today was a good day for me but I need to work on the car for tomorrow, the slow corners are not easy,” said the leader. Ingram dropped around 40sec in the Góis stage when he got caught in the dust caused by a slower car and trailed the leaders by 53.5sec after a challenging day. Early leader Pepe López was forced to retire on the second stage with suspension damage on his Citroën.
