WRC2: Huttunen holds on for win

Jari Huttunen stayed calm to record his first victory of the season after a thrilling final leg on Sunday at Rally Italia Sardegna. Huttunen started just 2.7sec ahead of Mads Østberg, who was dealt a 1min penalty following a late check-in the day before. Østberg claimed first blood and moved back into the lead with a win on the opening Arzachena – Braniatogghiu speed test, but slipped back again after a front right puncture cost him over 20sec on the very next stage. Despite battling through with technical issues of his own, Huttunen was quickest in the closing Wolf Power Stage and sealed victory by a slender 7.5sec.
