WRC stars grasp final Estonia warm-up chance

The finest and fastest drivers in the FIA World Rally Championship are back in business this weekend as they grab the last opportunity for vital preparation ahead of next month’s post-lockdown restart in Estonia. The Baltic country’s Lõuna-Eesti Ralli (23 August) has one of the most impressive entry lists outside of the WRC itself, as most manufacturer drivers take the chance to acclimatise to fast gravel roads ahead of Rally Estonia (4 – 6 September). “This is a good place to prepare for Rally Estonia,” said Tänak. “The roads are pretty similar to what we have coming for the WRC, so it’s not so surprising to see the others joining too.”. M-Sport Ford’s Esapekka Lappi drives a Fiesta World Rally Car run by JanPro Racing.
