World champion Max Verstappen reveals he could RETIRE from F1 in 2028 to try his hand at ‘few different kinds of racing’

TWO-TIMES World Champion Max Verstappen has revealed he could retire from F1 as soon as 2028. With the star only 25 and showing no signs of slowing down, Red Bull might have hoped for a long and successful dynasty with Verstappen at the helm. “I’m having a lot of fun with what I’m doing right now and I’m still in F1 for a couple more years… In recent years F1’s most successful drivers have tended to stay on the grid deep into their careers. The best example is Fernando Alonso who returned to the sport last year and is 41-years-old. But as F1’s youngest ever driver, Verstappen entered the sport far earlier than either of them.
