A request to have Marcus Ericsson at Formula One’s Belgian Grand Prix this weekend has provided Conor Daly another opportunity to drive in the NTT IndyCar Series.
Daly will drive the No. 7 Arrow Schmidt Peterson Motorsports Honda in the Grand Prix of Portland at Portland International Raceway.
Ericsson is a reserve driver for Alfa Romeo’s F1 team, and the manufacturer has requested he be present for this grand prix.
Daly made four starts for Schmidt Peterson Motorsports in the 2015 season, finishing sixth in a race in Detroit.
