The newest kid on Formula One’s block has officially picked the number he will be racing with for his first season. American driver Logan Sargeant has announced he will be racing with the #2 in the 2023 Formula One World Championship season. Belgian driver Stoffel Vandoorne was the last Formula One driver to race with that number – back when he was racing with McLaren in the 2017 and 2018 seasons. Sargeant raced with the #6 on his car last season in Formula Two, and that was available now that Williams dropped Canadian driver Nicholas Latifi. 2] in Formula Renault, and I had a pretty good season that year,’ Sargeant explained.
