Speaking to motogp.com’s Matt Birt and Amy Dargan on Thursday at the GP Octo di San Marino e della Riviera di Rimini, Alex Rins’ crew chief Jose Manuel Cazeaux spoke about how the Hamamatsu factory are trying to extract more power from their 2020 machine, while also finding the balance that makes the Suzuki – arguably – the best bike through the corners.
“When Alex looked like he had a bit more speed than the others for the lap time, but he couldn’t escape because when he got to the straight he was overtaken by the other competitors.”
