Weather Delays Opening Day Of Indy 500 Practice

INDIANAPOLIS — Track drying procedures continue at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway in hopes of getting cars on the track for today’s opening day for the 107th Indianapolis 500. Early morning rain kept the cars in the Gasoline Alley garages, but gave some teams a chance to take their cars through IndyCar technical inspection before hitting the 2.5-mile oval.
