Watch Lewis Hamilton narrowly avoid being wiped out in Austrian Grand Prix practice by Nikita Mazepin

LEWIS HAMILTON was nearly wiped out by Russian rookie Nikita Mazepin during Austrian Grand Prix practice. Hamilton raced up to corner three at the Red Bull Ring in Spielberg as Mazepin took a wide line as he pootled around. Seemingly completely unaware, Mazepin quickly turns into corner and nearly took Hamilton out of the running. One tweeted: “Mazepin’s race engineer needs to take a lot of the blame for this. His engineer should’ve told him to get out the way.”. Meanwhile, Merc boss Toto Wolff is also wary of a Red Bull fight back. I expect more engine to come from Red Bull tomorrow but we have improved in the corners, which is encouraging.”.
