– VOLT Racing with Archangel has confirmed an expansion into the IMSA Prototype Challenge. The IMSA Prototype Challenge will feature a two-class format in 2021, with new specification LMP3 cars, like the VOLT Lighting Ligier JS P320 competing in Prototype 1 and older specification LMP3 machines competing in Prototype 2. “The Ligier JS P320 is new to all of us, but Archangel Motorsports has had some success racing prototypes in the past and we’ve proven to be a strong combination with Alan so I like our chances heading into this new challenge.”. The Tampa native is prepared to face a new challenge as he makes his debut into prototype racing.
