Lewis Hamilton and Valtteri Bottas take part in Mercedes’ shakedown test of the new W10.
Having launched its 2019 Formula 1 challenger on Wednesday (February 13), Mercedes dovetailed its efforts with a shakedown test of the new car at Silverstone’s International circuit.
F1 rivals Red Bull were also completing a shakedown of its own F1 car on Silverstone’s National track layout.
Bottas was given the honour of debuting the W10 in the morning before handing over to reigning F1 world champion Hamilton in the afternoon.
After completing a series of checks and configuration laps, Mercedes undertook its permitted 100km filming of on-track action.
