(5/28/23) Offering a fast-paced second-weekend double-header of racing excitement, the POWRi Desert Wing Sprint Series presented by MVT Services would show outstanding action aplenty at Vado Speedway Park as Vance Wofford and Lorne Wofford would grab feature victories on the Memorial weekend event. Kicking off the Vado Speedway Park doubleheader weekend on Friday night would find Royal Jones and Vance Wofford each notch heat racing wins with Jason Ziehl gaining the pole-starting grid for the feature event. Keeping close, Caleb Saiz would finish third as Dylan Harris placed fourth with Lorne Wofford rounding out the top five feature finishers for the POWRi Desert Wing Sprint Series on Night One of the Memorial-Weekend Double-Header at Vado Speedway Park.
