Martin Brundle has revealed that Hollywood superstar Brad Pitt has been in contact with him to explain why he snubbed the Sky Sports presenter during his infamous grid walk. Brundle attempted to interview Pitt, though the star of movies including Bullet Train, Fight Club and Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, carried walking on and appeared to be in a rush to get away from the F1 personality. Brundle attempted to ask Pitt about his blockbuster movie in the works but the movie star swiftly shut him down. However, fans slammed Pitt for planning to star in the film without knowing who ‘the voice of the sport is’. One F1 fan posted on Twitter: ‘Brad Pitt, you’re doing a movie on F1 and don’t know who Martin Brundle is? When Martin Brundle approaches you on the grid, you stop and chat.
