Reigning champion Colin Turkington signalled his intent to defend his Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship title by producing a sensational lap during the qualifying ‘Top Ten Showdown’ at Snetterton earlier today (24 October) to secure pole position for tomorrow’s opener. Colin Turkington said: “I was really happy with that– I knew I was on a really good lap. I’ve got [Tom] Ingram there as well and Colin and Tom will be at each other – they’re fighting for a championship. If I can, I’m going to try and get Colin on the opening lap and disappear, then take my first win.”. 2020 Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship – Top Ten Showdown – Snetterton. 1 Colin TURKINGTON (GBR) Team BMW 1:56.858
