What a showing by Checo and Nico to score a valuable 16 points in the Constructors’ Championship!. Both Checo and Nico demonstrated their excellent understanding of the Pirelli tyres and were able to lap significantly further into the race than their rivals in the first stint. Checo ran 28 laps on the used Softs, while Nico ran 29 on his new Softs and it played a key part in Nico’s rise from P20 to P8. Checo and Nico’s double points score lifted the team back into P3 in the Constructors’ Championship for the first time since the Spanish Grand Prix. While Nico did a superb job under the circumstances, we can’t wait to welcome Lance back into the team.
