A double podium and Checo and the BWT Racing Point F1 Team’s first victory in Formula 1!. But Checo, Lance and the team got their heads down and continually worked on the car to find improvements. On Saturday, Checo praised the team for making a breakthrough in FP3 that proved a boost to Qualifying. Lance made it two cars in the Top 10, despite damage picked up on his second Q2 run, meaning the team could pounce with both cars if the race came to them. The eventual podium places were made possible by excellent stints by both Checo and Lance. The moment when Checo crossed the line to celebrate with the team was unforgettable, doubly so when Lance joined him on the podium!.
