Max Verstappen has lashed out at title rival Lewis Hamilton in the wake of their Monza crash, accusing the Mercedes driver of hypocrisy and denying he feels under pressure. Verstappen, just 5 points ahead of Hamilton, hit back at Hamilton’s assumptions about how he is handling the pressure. “His (Hamilton’s) comments show that he really doesn’t know me. Verstappen also dismissed Hamilton’s argument that he needs to learn to give in when a corner is lost. “There are many hypocrites in the world, that’s clear,” said Verstappen, alluding to when Hamilton celebrated jubilantly at Silverstone when Max was in hospital.
