CANEY, Kan. — Johnny Boland, Noah Key and Trey Zorn each captured their first Lucas Oil National Open Wheel 600 Series presented by Hi-Plains Building Division victory of the season on Friday evening during the opening round of the Border-Town Throwdown hosted by Caney Valley Speedway. Boland won the Stock Non-Wing main event to record his first career national score in the division while Key (Winged ‘A’ Class) and Zorn (Restricted ‘A’ Class) both picked up their first-ever national triumph. Boland advanced from fourth and held off fifth-starting Kenton Brewer to become the 14th different Stock Non-Wing winner this season.
