– After a two-week break, the stars and cars of the COMP Cams Super Dirt Series presented by Lucas Oil are gearing up for a busy first weekend of October. Weekend action includes a Thursday, Oct. 1 make-up feature at Batesville Motor Speedway. From there, the series rolls south to the Kilgore-family promoted Greenville Speedway, where the tour will sanction the 14th annual Gumbo Nationals on Friday and Saturday. The program at Batesville Motor Speedway consists solely of the $3,000-to-win feature that was postponed by Mother Nature on July 31. Speedway, where it will sanction the Gumbo Nationals on Friday and Saturday, Oct. 2-3.
