Thompson Icebreaker Pushed Back Due To Weather

THOMPSON, Conn. — A bleak weather outlook for the upcoming weekend has forced officials from the American-Canadian Tour and Pro All Stars Series to postpone the 49th Icebreaker Weekend at Thompson Speedway one week. The revamped Icebreaker schedule for next week will include optional practice for all Icebreaker divisions on April 6. With the Icebreaker being the first race of the season, officials felt the optional practice day would be paramount for teams to have the opportunity to shake down their rides before it came to competition on Friday and Saturday. The only major schedule change comes with moving the PASS Super Late Model 75 to Saturday, April 8, to coincide with the Open Modified Icebreaker 125. Saturday will feature the 49th running of the Icebreaker 125 for the Thompson Outlaw Open Modified Series.
