World Rally Cars are changing in 2022 to NEW Hybrid Rally1 cars with added hybrid engine power to give the rally drivers an electric boost in rally stages! Along with using the new sustainable fuel to help to reduce the pollution compared to the old WRC rally cars, these changes help to keep the World Rally Championship up to date with new car technologies seen in our road cars and help provide a more sustainable future for the sport.
