You don’t see Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton agree on many things, but even the arch enemies couldn’t help but have a laugh together over yet another diabolical Ferrari error during the Hungarian GP on Sunday night. LeClerc was just as baffled as Verstappen, Hamilton and Russell were about the decision. ‘I felt very strong and very comfortable on the mediums,’ he said on the broadcast after the race. ‘Everybody will remember the last part of the race where it was a disaster for me, especially the hard (tyres) – that’s why I lost the race, basically.’. To stick the knife in further, Verstappen and Hamilton both confirmed after the race that their respective teams hadn’t even contemplated finishing on the hard tyres. That being said, Leclerc wasn’t the only driver to struggle while he was on the compound in Hungary.
