The evolution of the F1 calendar: how it has changed over time

But do you know how the F1 Calendar has changed over time?. In the early years, there were only around seven races on the calendar. The 1970s saw a big increase in the number of races on the calendar. However, in recent years, the number of races on the calendar has increased dramatically. There are now 23 races on the calendar; the most to have ever featured in a single season. With more races on the calendar, there are more opportunities for teams to generate revenue through sponsorships and prize money. We could see the calendar expanding to 25 or even 26 races in the next few years.
