Last weekend (6/7 May), the Team HARD squad had a strong showing at their home race circuit of Brands Hatch, with the outstanding high being Autobrite Direct with Millers Oils’ Bobby Thompson, who secured his career best finish in the BTCC by taking second place during Round 6. It was great to do it at Brands Hatch as well, as it’s both mine and the team’s home race. “In race 2, we developed another issue as we were making our way to the grid. “Race 3 was a lot better, and we ended up in 17th, which I’m happy about as we came from much further back. It’s a shame for the team that issues out of their control hindered our race day. Nic Hamilton said: “I had an up and down day on race day. We finished race three in 19th, which was great, but looking forward to the rest of the season and achieving this more frequently.”.
