Taylor Tops Casa Grande Modified Run

CASA GRANDE, Ariz. — The Showdown At CAR concluded Sunday with an afternoon show and an increased payout. IMCA modified drivers chased a $3,000 prize while Northern sport mods and stock cars each paid $1,000 to win. Noll controlled the race through restarts but with eight laps remaining his toughest challenge in Jeff Taylor was second. Two laps later Taylor ran the top of turn four to pass Noll and led the final six laps for the win. Stock cars were led initially by Bo Partain until a lap 15 flat right rear moved Cole Czarneski to the lead. Bryson Curry and Joe Docekal pulled away from the pack in the early Northern sport mods laps.
