At the beginning of a crucial weekend for the Ducati Lenovo Team at the PETRONAS Grand Prix of Malaysia, Team Manager Davide Tardozzi took the time to sit down on the MotoGP™ Podcast – and it was a fascinating, honest discussion. – “There are eight Ducati bikes because the other manufacturers didn’t want to give bikes to other teams. It’s not Ducati that forced them to have the bike, the other manufacturers didn’t provide bikes.”. – “I think that what Enea did in Misano, I see that somebody said that Enea arrived second in Misano because of team orders. You see what Enea did in Aragon, is that team orders?”. – “We have always said to the riders, don’t do something too dangerous between Ducati riders. The Ducati Team Manager questioned why other manufacturers aren’t supplying more bikes and batted away doubts about their strategy.
