CONCORD, N.C. – Two-time World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series champion Brad Sweet swept a pair of events at Missouri’s Federated Auto Parts Raceway at I-55 to run his winning streak with the series to four consecutive races. In the process, he extended his lead in the Mid-America Region standings of the National Sprint Car Rankings. No driver has yet reached the 20-start plateau required to open the national rankings, but Donny Schatz and Gio Scelzi have each made 19 starts this season. Danny Dietrich moved into the lead in the Eastern Region, while Gary Taylor moved to the top of the standings in the Great Lakes Region.
