Toto Wolff could see a familiar face in Formula 1 team principals’ meetings next year. Multiple authoritative sources – including Blick newspaper, Speed Week, f1-insider.com and others – are reporting that Susie Wolff is a leading candidate to become Williams’ next team boss. Susie Wolff, nee Stoddart, was a Williams test driver in the past when Toto Wolff co-owned the Oxfordshire based team. “That surprised me a bit,” former Williams driver Ralf Schumacher told Sky Deutschland. Alongside Susie Wolff’s name, another former Williams driver – 2009 world champion and current team ‘senior advisor’ Jenson Button – is being linked with the role.
