Super Lukyanuk untouchable on Saturday

Alexey Lukyanuk maintained his unbeaten record to build up a beefy WRC3 lead on Saturday at Rally Estonia. Lukuyanuk has already conquered the European Rally Championship twice, but a victory on Sunday would be his first ever in the WRC. We multiplied our advantage with our strategy and our consistencies through the toughest day, so we are totally happy,” he said. He started the day fourth, but inherited second after Egon Kaur and Emil Lindholm both retired with suspension troubles. Spanish champion Pepe López also benefited from retirements ahead to take fourth at the end of a brutal day, whilst home hero Raul Jeets was another 1min 49.8sec behind.
