Suninen headlines WRC2 entry in Belgium

M-Sport Ford World Rally Team driver Teemu Suninen leads the WRC2 contenders into the unknown at Renties Ypres Rally Belgium this week (13 – 15 August). Suninen returns to his Fiesta Rally2 machine following back-to-back top-tier outings at Safari Rally Kenya and Rally Estonia, where he finished sixth. “It’s going to be an interesting challenge,” Suninen mused. The Swede says he is still getting to grips with his Fiesta Rally2 machine, although admitted to being more confident on the asphalt surface. “I think it’s not so usual to be Scandinavian and be more comfortable on Tarmac than on gravel, but in this case, I think I am a little bit more confident in the Tarmac,” Kristensson explained. “I have a lot to learn on all the surfaces, but basically I am very happy with the Tarmac driving with this car.
