Sullivan on Laguna Seca: ‘Great place to crown a champion’

Three years after winning the 1985 Indianapolis 500, Sullivan clinched CART’s season championship at Laguna Seca (see photo from that race below).
Sullivan, 69, could be considered Laguna Seca’s top cheerleader because he considers it one of his favorite tracks, and that’s saying a lot.
Danny Sullivan: “It’s a great place to have an INDYCAR race, and we always had great crowds here, and I think it’s going to be a super event.”
Danny Sullivan: “You add all that stuff together and this is just a great place to come – a great place to crown a champion.”
