Stefan Bradl is set to return to the track at the Spanish GP, with HRC announcing he will take a wildcard spot at Circuito de Jerez – Angel Nieto. The German has already ridden in the opening two rounds of the Championship, as well as for the majority of 2020 in the place of the absent Marc Marquez (Repsol Honda Team), but the Spaniard’s return meant he reverted back to his role as Test Rider. Marc Marquez’ crew chief Santi Hernandez thinks the HRC test rider should get the nod – if needed – over Dovizioso at the start of 2021.
