Tradition continues with the 51st running of the NAPA Auto Parts Spring Sizzler at Stafford Speedway on May 12-13. The open modified is the same as the cars that compete on the Whelen Modified Tour. Heat races will take place on May 12 and will be eight laps each. The top 10 finishers in each duel will transfer directly to the Spring Sizzler feature. Drivers who finish 11th or worse will compete in the 15-lap Last Chance Qualifier on May 13. The 51st running of the Spring Sizzler will take place on May 13 and will be 100 laps. Also, on Friday, $3,500 will be given out to each winner of the duel.
