(01/20/2021) Entering into the second season under the Performance Open Wheel Racing Incorporated sanctioning body, the POWRi Lucas Oil Southwest Lightning Sprints are all set to continue the outstanding racing for the 2021 season. Based out of southern California, the POWRi Lucas Oil Southwest Lightning Sprints will kick off their 2021 campaign with winged competition at Pahrump Valley Speedway for three days of racing action. Memorial Day Weekend, on May 29-30, will mark the return of the POWRi Lightning Sprint Nationals, hosted in 2021 at Central Missouri Speedway with the POWRi Midwest Lightning Sprints. Stepping outside of California on May 1st will see the POWRi Lucas Oil Southwest Lightning Sprints make their lone appearance at Mohave Valley Raceway in Mohave Valley Arizona.
