Hyundai star Dani Sordo has talked of his motivation for taking a 55th career FIA World Rally Championship podium at Vodafone Rally de Portugal. The Irishman lost his life in a testing accident in Croatia last month, but Sordo said he felt his support in the car last week. “This is for you, Craig,” said Sordo at the finish. “I think we drove very well, so I have to say thanks to him. Sordo’s crash helmet design featured a 50:50 mix of his own and Breen’s Irish-flagged helmet. “I remember, I called Craig after Sweden and told him he was so fast, and he said: “Now you have the pressure!”.
