JACKSON, Minn. — Jared Siefert and Doug Wickman emerged victorious on Tuesday evening during the Jackson Motorplex season opener. Siefert topped the $5,000-to-win IMCA Stock Car Challenge, which featured a wild start and finish to the 25-lap showdown. Siefert originally powered into the lead on the start of the main event, but a caution before the opening lap was completed created a restart. Dallon Murty capitalized by taking the lead, but Siefert used the bottom lane exiting turn two to take over the top spot on lap three. Green was disqualified while Siefert inherited the lead for the final two-lap shootout. Wickman led the distance of the 15-lap IMCA Hobby Stocks feature to score the special $750 top prize.
