Shocking new video shows dozens of fans swarming the track at the Australian Grand Prix while cars were still running in security breach that could’ve had ‘horrific consequences’

Further disturbing footage has emerged of F1 fans swarming the Albert Park track in Melbourne on Sunday while cars were still competing. ‘A large group of spectators managed to break the security lines and accessed the track while the race was still ongoing,’ the stewards’ report read. ‘All of this presented significant danger to the spectators; race officials and the drivers.’. He told ABC his team would look at CCTV footage to ascertain how spectators managed to get access to the track while the cars were still zooming past. ‘There’s a controlled allowance of people to come onto the track after the race has concluded and after the safety car passes,’ he said.
