Sesks tops high-quality Junior WRC entry

A strong and experienced field of young chargers will chase honours in this season’s 20th anniversary FIA Junior WRC Championship. The field is headed by last year’s championship runner-up Mārtinš Sesks, who embarks on his third season in the Junior WRC. It didn’t go really well but we came back stronger last year. Virves made his sole Junior WRC appearance at his home rally last year thanks to a crowd-funding campaign. Lauri Joona returns after a similar tale on his Junior WRC debut in Sweden last year. The Slovakian has started 19 junior rounds dating back to 2012, and finished third in the championship in 2014 and second in 2016. “We have championship contenders from last year going up against championship contenders from years gone by and other well-known junior championships.
