Sergio Perez takes the first pole position of his F1 career in Saudi Arabia as the Red Bull driver beats the Ferrari duo and team-mate Max Verstappen after Mick Schumacher’s terrifying 170mph crash… and Lewis Hamilton can only manage 16th place!

Lewis Hamilton will start a lowly 16th in Sunday’s Saudi Arabian Grand Prix as Mick Schumacher was airlifted to hospital following a terrifying 160mph crash. Perez is top, Ferrari duo Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz next, with Perez’ team-mate Max Verstappen in fourth and Esteban Ocon P5. Nine minutes left into the top 10 shootout… Sainz, Leclerc, Perez, Verstappen, Alonso, Bottas, Gasly, Magnussen, Ocon and Russell the ones left. He was going very quickly when he crashed there – Schumacher looks like he’s still in the cockpit of the car. By the way, the top five was: Sainz, Leclerc, Magnussen, Gasly, Norris. Max Verstappen was down in 10th – but at least he’s into Q2!. Hamilton is really struggling and he might not even make Q2!!!. Hamilton is only 13th, with team-mate George Russell FOURTH fastest. By the way, Max Verstappen was second and Lewis Hamilton was fifth…
