All the great champions leave their mark in Formula One and Sebastian Vettel will certainly not buck that trend when he retires at the end of the season. Vettel’s hard graft has also seen him go well beyond the duty at last season’s British Grand Prix. Vettel continued: ‘It is something I ask myself [whether I should be racing in Formula One] and travelling the world. Yet, Vettel is more than just the ‘nice guy’ in Formula One. Vettel was only third in the world championship standings heading into the season finale at the Yas Marina circuit, yet in taking pole and winning the race in dominant fashion clinched the title. After joining Ferrari for 2015, Vettel took just two races to upset the Mercedes applecart by taking an excellent victory on merit at the Malaysian Grand Prix. Results have admittedly not been the same since but Vettel’s legacy has already been written.
