Sauter Leads Bigley Sr. Memorial Practice

BRADENTON, Fla. — Johnny Sauter, the 2016 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series champion, turned the fastest practice lap Friday afternoon at Freedom Factory. Sauter was one of 37 super late model drivers preparing for Saturday’s Billy Bigley Sr. Memorial 128 at the three-eighths-mile oval. Sauter turned a lap of 14.542 seconds to edge ASA National Tour champion Ty Majeski. Jett Noland, Jeremy Doss and Jesse Dutilly completed the top five in practice for Saturday’s $30,000-to-win event.
