In celebration of the 100 Days Countdown to the 105th Running of the Indianapolis 500 presented by Gainbridge, two-time race champion Takuma Sato will participate in a special streaming show Friday, Feb. 19 to unveil his likeness on the Borg-Warner Trophy, commemorating his 2020 win. Another highlight of the streaming show will be a video from a very special guest with deep INDYCAR ties. Commissioned in 1935 and presented to then-IMS owner Eddie Rickenbacker in 1936, a spot the Borg-Warner Trophy has been coveted by Indianapolis 500 drivers ever since. Sato’s likeness will be the 107th added to the iconic trophy.
