Sami-Joe claims eSports WRC opening round honours

Sami-Joe has picked up where he left off in 2020, storming to the top of the leaderboard in the opening round of the 2021 eSports WRC Championship, presented by Toyota Gazoo Racing. The Lebanese teenager, this season representing Seventh Gear eSport Club, completed the Rallye Monte-Carlo challenge with a time of 15mins 18.454secs, nearly six seconds clear of the two-time champion Nexl. Driving for Race Clutch, Nexl was joined on the podium by team-mate Izamusing, who was a further 12 seconds back from Sami-Joe. eSports WRC action continues from 19-22 February when the regular season moves to the snowy roads of Rally Sweden.
