Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP’s Valentino Rossi has unveiled his latest special Misano helmet design ahead of FP3 at the Gran Premio Lenovo di San Marino e della Riviera di Rimini. The nine-time World Champion will be donning the design on Saturday and Sunday at the first of his two home Grands Prix at the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli. The British rider has been officially declared unfit following another medical check on Saturday morning at Misano. It’s a Yamaha 1-2-3 at the top of the combined standings on Friday in San Marino, two KTMs sit as their main rivals. Mir, Dovizioso, Miller and Zarco have work to do on Saturday morning as a thrilling FP3 awaits at Misano.
